Lil’ Wagon Fishing Charters welcomes you to Tavernier, the north end of the Sportsman Capital of the World, Islamorada. Come join Captain Michael Hartnett for beautiful days on the water targeting various prized species under the Florida Keys and watch birds such as frigates, terns, and seagulls as they chase the bait. Hot days and calmer winds generally make for great days on or in the water, so take the chance and include some snorkeling or diving in your offshore sea adventure as well!

You’ll start your trip on a restored 28’ Bluewater center console that can sit up to 4 guests. It runs on a twin 300 HP Suzuki engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 36 knots and it uses full-featured navigation technology comprised of GPS, a fishfinder, radar, and radio. The boat’s equipped with downriggers, outriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box.

Tavernier offshore waters offer you plenty of fish to catch. You can fish reefs for Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper, Black Grouper, and all the other species available. Be prepared to bump into Barracuda or Amberjack as well! There’s also a wide choice of techniques for catching fish. You can use light and heavy tackle, troll, bottom fish, deep sea fish, spin, and jig. You’re free to bring along kids on your trip and you decide if you want to keep or release your catch. Also, the captain appreciates no smoking while on board.

You’ll be provided with all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait you’ll need for the trip, as well as for fishing licenses. Before you depart, just make sure you’ve packed some food and drinks.
