Captain Frank Viola III has been fishing the west coast of Florida for decades. He is considered one of the states premier fisherman and a world renowned tarpon guide. He recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to be closer to family and has already had much success on Lake Norman.
You’ll fish from a 2020 18’ Hell’s Bay Marquesa flats boat that can easily sit 3 guests and is wheelchair-accessible. It’s powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine, uses all-the-quality GPS and fishfinder electronics, and is equipped with a livewell. The boat has also got wireless trolling motor and multimedia system.
Captain Frank will supply you with everything you’ll need for your trip. You’ll have all the fishing gear, bait, catch cleaning, snacks and drinks, as well as licenses. On full day trips, you can even have lunch.
Some of the species you can expect to target are largemouth and spotted bass, channel, flathead and blue catfish, gar, striped and hybrid bass along with a variety of panfish including bluegill and crappie.
