The Wasabi is a 34’ Ocean Master sportfishing boat that was completely overhauled in 2012, and which offers ample space on board for 6 anglers. She comes powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha outboards which can get you up to 30 knots, as you gently sail to sea.
The boat also comes equipped with GPS and fishfinder, as well as outriggers and downriggers to give your lines the best spread, and a fighting chair to help wrestle in those blue water beasts. It can be chartered for sightseeing, surfing at Witches Rock, and spearfishing or snorkeling. Just get in touch with your captain, and he’ll look after all your needs.
Captain William Ong and his skilled first mate know that to catch the best, you need to bring the best. They provide tournament-grade Penn International and Shimano gear, with a choice of light and heavy tackle and the option to set up for trolling, kite fishing, jigging, popping, or bottom fishing. They promise to work tirelessly, switching things up or heading to new spots if the lines stop twitching, and working with you the whole way to make sure you get exactly what you’re after.
Wasabi Fishing Team offers the complete package for your trip to Costa Rica, with luxury accommodation at Casa Wasabi an option too.
