Come visit Detroit and enjoy your trip to the beautiful Detroit River along with Captain Mark Pieniozek, an experienced and cordial angler who’ll make sure your trip goes as well as it can. Pick a date and spend a day fishing the rich Detroit River!
Your trip will start on a 22’ Skeeter angler boat that can accommodate up to 5 guests. It’s run by a 300 HP Yamaha engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 55 knots. The boat is wheelchair accessible, uses all the modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for navigation, and has got a livewell to provide you with live bait.
The Detroit Rivers offers you plenty of chance to target Walleye, a species prized for both the fight it puts up and its food quality. You and Captain Mark will catch it by jigging on light tackle. You get to keep all the fish you catch and you can bring kids on your trip as well. Just keep in mind that smoking isn’t allowed on board.
The captain will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, as well as with live bait and lures. If you wish so, he can also clean and fillet your catch at no extra charge. Before you leave, just make sure you have your licenses and some snacks and drinks.
