We jumped the gun fishing so early in the year but ended up getting so lucky!  Not only was the weather gorgeous but the ocean was nearly flat for us.  Capt Eric and his son Braxton put us on some fish.  There were two fishing virgins on the boat and let’s just say they are certainly not anymore.  We didn’t catch any monsters but we caught plenty of other things had a much needed fun reality break and enjoyed a beautiful day. Capt Eric is such a nice,  genuine guy and his son was so fun!  Thanks guys! PS Caydens dad was SUPER excited about the Wicked Tuna piece haha.

Captain Eric’s number one priority was ensuring that my children ages 13, 10, and 8 had a great time. They did! After showing and helping us learn a bit about how to operate the rods and reels, my family was pretty able to run the show. Eric and his first mate, Tyler, were always quick to jump in and help, though. Although our most popular catch was the lizard fish, we did bring in a blue fish and a couple Spanish mackerels - the biggest pulled in by my wife. After our great trip and some wonderful stories from his experiences, including his time on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks, we snapped some pics and Eric sent us off with some fillets and cooking tips. If we find ourselves around Atlantic Beach in the future, we’ll definitely look up Captain Eric again.

This trip was so much fun! It was our first time to North Carolina and only our second time on a charter and it was definitely a highlight for us Colorado folk. The boys were extremely happy and the girls had a great time! Deckhand Darren was super friendly and helpful. There were times when all four of us were reeling in a fish at the same time and ended with 46! So many fun memories and pictures. Thank you so much!

We had such a fun time! I’m 100% sure my kids will always remember this trip. We have 3 boys and a girl ages 15, 13, 10 and 7. Each of them were involved and caught at least one shark. They were interested in everything, so time was spent asking questions and also learning about the boat and equipment. The mate was very knowledgeable on local history and always knew the “What’s that?” answer. Both he and Captain Eric were fun, kind and excellent with my kids. And of course, very skilled fishermen. Thanks for the memories. I hope we can do it again sometime!

Captain Eric and Mate Darren were very accommodating with the visually impaired.  Made the trip smooth and I would highly recommend the both of them, well worth the trip all the way from Maryland.
