Despite us not landing a single tarpon in the boat, our fishing excursion was a great time. We hooked into several tarpon and the fight was worth the price of the excursion. Seeing the fish jump out of the water was a first for me and an exciting experience.                                                               
The captain was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable about fishing and Puerto Rico itself. I would highly recommend this fishing experience.

We (dad, mom, 7.5 yo son) took an AM half day trip with Alex.  We couldn’t have asked for a guide that was a better teacher - we’d never fished Tarpon before - more passionate about Puerto Rico, interested in the history of the Caribbean, and an overall cool dude.  We enjoyed his teaching and conversation the entire time.  Alex was sure to teach our son the fundamentals of catching Tarpon (he was the first in the family to land one).  We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

I had captain Miguel for my trip and he’s the best charter captain I’ve ever had.  I let him know that catching a trophy tarpon was a dream of mine and he treated it like it was his own!  After putting me on a 100+ lb tarpon within the first hour of the trip, we went on a species hunt and were able to land barracuda, Spanish mackerel and saw plenty of Snook.  He even helped us locate a place that would prepare the fish and took plenty of great pictures that will ensure that I never forget the wonderful time we had.  Absolutely a class act and I will be booking with them every time I visit PR.  Tight lines!

Worked hard so move spots and make sure we could get hooked up on a tarpon. We unfortunately were met with unfavorable weather and the fish were not being very aggressive. But I will most certainly be booking again my next time in San Juan. Our captain was super nice to be around, gave us some good places to go dance and eat/drink. He was very clearly emotionally invested in getting us fish. It wasn’t just a money grab. He was also a very sound boat captain and navigated the waters like a pro even with other boats tossing wake, and the wind kicking up waves. Smooth sailing, fun time. 10/10

Captain Fernando reached out to me the day prior to trip, made sure to answer last minute questions and made sure we had the proper Address to the marina.
When we arrived he greeted us with a beautiful Puerto Rican sunrise, Followed by a quick safety brief and our plan for the afternoon,
We landed Snook and Tarpon on Top water lures (Absolutely Exciting having a Captain that was so creative when looking for the Bite)  Hooked up on Both a Monster Tarpon an Snook that unfortunately got the best of us But not before RIPPIN a couple LIPS off the smaller tackle busters!
Through out the morning and afternoon Fernando took photos, kept fun and interesting conversation with fact about local waters, Animals we might see, and some History on Fishing Monster Tarpon!
At the end of the trip, He wished my Wife an Amazing Birthday followed by recommending the best dinner of our trip at Princesa - Cocina Cultura’
