Blu Flu Sportfishing simply began as a few cops who had a passion for fishing. Over the years, we have honed our skills and decided, what better way to further our passion than to share it with others who have the same passion and even include those who are completely new to the sport!

When we head out, our priority is to put you on the meat. We know that you did not book your charter to go for a boat ride, so we will do everything possible to bend a rod! If harvesting your catch is desired, we will absolutely keep, fillet and bag your catch for you (regulations permitting). If keeping the fish to harvest is not your thing, we fully understand and support that. We just want you to enjoy your time on the water!

Aside from catching fish, we have to keep safety paramount. If the weather or seas just are not cooperating the day of your charter, we can either re-schedule your trip or stay inside the inlet and fish. Either way, we are always prepared.

These 6 hour trips are typically non-stop action, as the Raritan is a notorious treasure trove for these migratory fish. This trip is limited to 6 passengers.

    This trip is for the serious anglers. When you're up to 100 miles from the dock- Tuna, mahi, swordfish, marlin, shark are all on the table when that outrigger pops and reel starts screaming. This trip will test your endurance and muscles. There is nothing like going from zero to 100mph when you're out in that cobalt blue water and line starts peeling off. Our crew does everything possible to capitalize on the conditions and employ any and all techniques to hookup. We usually leave the dock around 1am.

Captain Stew has been saltwater fishing the bays, shores and deepwater of new jersey for over 30 years. Capt. Stew is a certified captain through the united states coast guard and has vast experience in navigating the waters off the coast. Capt. Stew has all of the traits and capabilities one would expect and will enjoy their captain to have when chartering.
