My son was SO excited for fishing in Florida, and Captain Charles made it everything we could have wanted. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Keys and where to find the fish, and once we dropped anchor, he worked with my son the whole time, coaching and helping him with the lines. Cherry on top was that he cooked up our catch that night and delivered it to our resort!
I would do this trip again in a second (even though I get really seasick and was basically a lump on the floor) and hope to have the opportunity again. The best!!

Organized a last minute half day trip for my son and I to do some deep sea fiching.  Captain Charles was easy to book with and communicate with prior to the trip.  We had a great time out in the boat with him, and while we didn’t land a big one, we did catch some smaller fish and had a great time.  We did have a big one in the line, but unfortunately I limit him get away..
Something that would he fun next time would he to have Captain and chef Charles prepare a meal afterwards with the catch… something you should def consider!

We booked a day that gave us beautiful weather conditions, but the fish were not overly active.  Charles put us in the spots to succeed and we still managed to pull in some fish.  My 13 year old son even got to reel in a large Barracuda. 

Charles and his son were pleasant with our group and patient with our lack of experience.  If we lost a hook or bait, they had another rod ready for us to get back in the water right away.  They also helped coach us on what to do once we were hooked up and would help hold the rod on bigger fish. 

We had enough fun on the trip alone but Charles insisted that he cook the fish we caught for us.  We didn’t catch enough to feed our family of 8 but Charles went above and beyond and cooked us our fish (plus more that he caught on other trips), ribs, roasted potatoes, corn, rice, and even key lime pie.  All of it was fantastic!  I wished we lived in the area so that we could go more often.

I would recommend Captain Charles to anyone: he is very knowledgeable of the local fishing spots, a talented chef, and a great guy.  The unique aspect of this experience is that he will cook you a delicious meal out of your catch and deliver it to you (I highly recommend taking him up in this).  Very personable and makes you feel at ease if you’re not an experienced ocean angler.  11/10 would book again!

Chef Charles provides an amazing and unique experience not only fishing but with his culinary skills as he prepared our catch for dinner! We caught several different types of fish including shark! Chef Charles has a great boat and equipment and was quick to bait hooks and help reel the catch in if needed. His attentiveness allowed us to constantly catch fish and the time that our poles were out of the water was very minimal! We had so much fun as Chef Charles is also great company! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
