We had a great time with Captain Kris and first mate Blake on our afternoon excursion. The fish were slow to bite, but Kris is an experienced captain and made the needed adjustments to get on the action. Kris communicated with some other boats in the area to coordinate the hunt for the best fishing spots. You don’t want a lone wolf captain out there, but one who cooperates with others so everyone has a good time.

We landed three nice rainbows first before getting after some kings and coho as well as a few lake trout.  We certainly did get a workout since many of the fish happened to bite on the lines farthest and deepest from the boat. We ended up with a nice lot of 13 fish fishing with a group of four. We had opportunities to land several more, maybe even up to our limit, but lost some due to our inexperience. Kris was able to point out things we were doing wrong with our approach so that we were more successful. We snapped a line due to overloading the drag on a pole which resulted in a stranded planer board, lost rigging, and a fish. However, to everyone’s amazement, we ended up snagging that line a little later and recovered everything. Now that is a neat fishing story to remember! We will definitely join Kris again in the future.

We all had an awesome time with Kris and crew.  He definitely went out of his way to accommodate our schedule into his. Right when we got there others had tales of little to no action but Kris got us out there and catching in no time!  Any question we had about how things worked and times, Temps, and depths were answered in detail giving us peace of mind in his knowledge. He was also calm when we had the adrenaline rushing while reeling in fish giving us guidance and ensuring we got the fish in the boat.  Will DEFINITELY be calling on his services for the next outing we got planned in our minds soon enough.  I whole heartedly recommend giving him your business, you won’t regret it.

We had a great time with Brian. He catered information to each of us individually based on our skill set, and he helped all of us to have a good time.  We went out at a bad time to start, but Brian never gave up and kept trying new techniques until one worked. Everyone in our group was able to catch a fish and have a memorable experience.
