We booked a reef fishing trip with Captain Miguel. Due to weather, Captain reached out to us and suggested a change in trip due to weather and safety. He suggested a few different options and we let him decide. He took us on a night time inshore fishing trip, and it exceeded every expectation we had and then some.

He was knowledgeable about the art of fishing, compassionate towards marine life, patient with non experienced anglers, funny, and an all around great human being.

We caught some cool fish, saw dolphins, experienced the Miami lights at night on the water, and had a great time.

Miguel guided us to a spot where we had fish on in less than 5 minutes. We had a lot of fish bite, even got to see kite fishing for sailfish. We saw one surface and snap up our bait. It was really cool to have one on for a bit. A little tricky to get them to commit, but overall it was a great trip. Highly recommend fishing with Miguel.

Although fishing started out slow, we got into a grove and everyone caught. A few good ones got away. The Captain was amazing, the boat was great and we will do this again.

The captain really knows what he’s doing, he has all the equipment and the knowledge to get anyone fishing, it’s impossible not to catch fish with him.
