Capt. John was the best fishing guide that I’ve ever hired.  He was excellent at maneuvering the boat so I wouldn’t run out of line when a large fish was tearing line off the reel.  My son and I caught many fish during the day because of Capt. John’s skill in finding them…lots of Red Snapper, a large shark, and a very large Jack Crevalle which was hooked on a light spinning rod and was the battle of a lifetime for me.  I’m planning on returning from Virginia next year for another Red Snapper fishing trip.

My sons and I came to New Orleans for the first time and chartered a fishing trip with Captain Jeremy.  We didn’t know what to expect. The captain greeted us on time and ready to go bright and early. He was extremely friendly and likable. The boat and all equipment was top notch. The captain and crew worked tirelessly to get us on the fish. They brought all imaginable lures/bait and tried everything until we found what the fish were biting. They also taught us new fishing techniques. Highly recommend!

Weather conditions were a little rough and fishing bite was slow.  Jeremy tried his best to put us on fish.  We caught several catfish and a sting ray.  Not his fault it wasn’t the best of days for fishing and he was very courteous and was even willing to let us stay a little past our time if we wanted.  We told him we understand some days can be rough for fishing.  Would definitely take a trip again with him if we were in the area.

John and Jeremy worked hard to make sure everyone had fun catching fish. My kids don’t always like to fish from a boat, but a half day was perfect and there where plenty of fish on.  It was what they considered a “slow” fishing day, but we still caught as many big fish as we wanted to keep and we put dozens of smaller fish back.

The boat was new and clean and all the rods in perfect condition.  We used live shrimp and they kept the hooks baited constantly.  They used an electric trolling motor and fish finder to keep us on top of the fish.

We were staying in New Orleans, but it’s a quick drive up to Pass Christian and there is plenty of parking.  The food from the shack and on the dock were both fantastic.  A++

Overall, it was an amazing experience!  Captain John’s patience level and willingness to help my daughter and I at every turn, even though we knew nothing and had no skills, was beyond phenomenal. Even with getting a late start because of storms and a bust with the first location, he persevered and made sure we had a great time and came home with a great load of trout. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
