While the morning was slightly slow, not of anyone’s fault but Mother Nature, Captain Ryan went above and beyond to give us the chance to catch a fish. My girlfriend is inexperienced with offshore fishing, but Captain Ryan was always there if she needed help. He also answered any questions we had. During our trip we even saw a sunfish, sea turtle, shark, and a few dolphins. He shared with us local things for us to do during our trip. He even shared his prior fishing stories and trophy fish he has caught! He was very polite and very informative. We could not have had a better Captain guiding our trip. By the end of our trip we had caught Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, and even had a few sharks on our line. The trip with Ryan was one we will never forget.

We booked a 4-hour shark fishing charter and wanted our kids to experience fighting these strong, larger fish from the back of a rocking boat! Captain Ryan set the anchor about 8 miles off shore and set two lines with some fresh chunks of bloody fish. He told us, “It can go from zero to 150 real quick, so be ready!”
He gave us specific instructions on exactly what to do when the rods bent over with a shark on! In time, the first rod bent over and we reeled in a small 4 or 5 pound Black Tip—delicious eating, but not what we came for. We wanted a monster! Within about 20 minutes the second srike hit, and my son started cranking that reel. It was clear right away, this was going to be a heck of a fight! I took the pole and fought for 20 minutes before my wife wanted a turn. She’s wicked strong, but it was too big, too powerful, and had too much fight, so she handed it back. We fought and fought, and after 45 minutes it was beside the boat and Ryan was able to slip a line around the body and fins and pull it aboard. BULL SHARK! WE WERE STOKED!!! The shark was 7 or 8 feet long, putting it somehwere around 200+ pounds. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to fight, and our family loved every minute of it. We got some photos, opened the rear hatch and let it back into the sea.
Back at the docks, Ryan fileted the Black Tip for our dinner. Ryan was awesome, polite, knowledgeable and a joy to spend half a day with. We will look him up next time we’re in Florida to go sharking! Thanks Ryan!

This was a great experience and a must do trip! It was a great private trip with just me and my wife and in laws with the captain. He knew exactly where the sharks were and took us directly there. We didn’t catch anything this time but we will be back with him soon to catch that elusive shark! Not catching anything was no fault of our captains at all he took us where we needed to be and even showed us that the sharks were there, they just didn’t want to take anything at that point in time! I’m very pleased with our trip overall and would 100% recommend this charter every single time! Me and my family will absolutely book with him again no doubt about that! Captain Ryan took us near shore fishing for sharks with our three kiddos. He took us to the first spot and he quickly decided it wasn’t the right area. We then moved out about a mile further and boom! After he chummed up the water and set the rods we were “fish on” the rest of the trip! We ended our trip with plenty to take home and six sharks under our belt. The last shark took us a LONG time to get in….8-10 ft possibly 300 lb hammerhead!
