Spend the day with Hooked on Summer PTY and let them show you what makes the fishing in the Gulf of Chiriquí so memorable! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Daniel can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Black Marlin, Cubera Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Amberjack, Rainbow Runner, and more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. How’s that for fresh seafood?
You’ll be casting lines from a 25’ Mako center console that holds up to 5 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Trips with Hooked on Summer PTY are kid-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Don’t forget to bring snacks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Your trip includes a few drinks on board. There will be some light snacks included on board as well.
