Here We Go Sport Fishing is located in Emeryville, California and offers to show you a memorable time in the San Francisco Bay and outside the Golden Gate along the beautiful coast of Northern California.

Capt. Matt will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. Matt is currently offering full day and half day trips, mainly fishing for Halibut or Salmon, depending on the conditions. Capt. Matt will use trolling and/or drifting techniques to put you on fish.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 30’ Grady White boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a private/roomy toilet, an ice-box, and a livewell.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

    Weekdays can be some of the most productive fishing days with light pressure and sometimes untapped conditions. Start times are negotiable with trips starting any time or as late as 5:30 p.m. Trips can end with the sunset. Hit up Captain Matt to design your own customizable trip. All you have to do is show up with your favorite adult beverage and snack. The crew will take care of the rest. Duration is negotiable with pricing starting at $775 for the 6-hour trip. One angler minimum and 4 maximum.

I've been running my own boats and fishing trips since 1988 when I purchased my first boat. In 2009 we purchased our current boat, a 2001 Grady White 300 Marlin. I recieved my USCG Credentials in 2015 and am now living my dream of being a full time captain. For 45 years I've been absolutely nuts about fishing and everything outdoors. I've evolved however and my satisfactions now come from seeing others enjoy what I've enjoyed for so long. I have fished the far reaches of the Golden Gate coast to the upper Sacramento river and everywhere in between. My wife Sonya has been by my side for the past 29 years and she is a key component to my success and the success of Here We Go Sport Fishing. ​
