We had a great time.  We had two children and two adults. 
The kids were my 14 year old son who fishes daily and my 11 year old niece who had never fished before.  He was really patient and helped the 11 year old with everything (baiting hooks and getting the fish off because she was scared of them).  He explained how everything was working to my 14 year old and answered all his questions.  The 14 year old was baffled how we were catching so many fish - he said it was catching not fishing.  Tommy answered all questions and even explained trigger fish and sea bass because we’ve never caught those before. 
Our goal was to have everyone catch a ton of fish and we were not targeting a species.  We were hooked up the whole time.  This was a father’s day gift for my husband.  He is always baiting hooks and helping everyone out that he loses his own fishing time.  We joke he never catches anything… Well that changed.  Tommy took care of everything for everyone and my husband got to catch a bunch of fish. 
Our group pulled up 50-60 fish.  We did catch and release the whole time, but there were keepers.  We will definitely go out with Buck Nasty charters again.
As for my experience… Best Wednesday of my life.  :-D

We had a great experience with tommy. Told him when we got there that we hadn’t done this before. Couldn’t have asked for a better guy to be our guide. The boys, ages 11 and 8 loved him. As he taught u about the experience but also made it fun and very comfortable. We caught plenty of fish and the boys won’t stop talking about how much fun it was and how great tommy was. We will definitely go thru him next time without a doubt. Great lifetime memories and promise u won’t be disappointed at all if u go thru buck nasty.

Amazing experience with Captain Tommy. I was hesitant to go all the way out to where the Mahi Mahi were as the waves were quite choppy so we stopped 20 miles from shore. He made sure I felt comfortable at all times and as soon as we cast our lines into the ocean, we were catching fish left and right. Caught lots of sea bass, white grunts, chocolate pogies and grouper (sadly had to send back to ocean as it was too small). I would highly recommend booking a trip with Tommy if you are looking for a fun conversation and a great time fishing!

My three boys and I had a very memorable day with Captain Tommy! He was fantastic, very accommodating, upfront and honest on what to expect and super funny.  Water was a little rougher than expected, but he made the most out of the morning. We caught Cobia, Mahi-mahi and other fish. I’ll definitely lookup Captain Tommy the next time I’m in Emerald Isle and will be referring him to friends and family! Thanks for a great experience!

So glad we fished with Tommy. He was great to talk to, very knowledgeable, and he put us on the fish! We caught a bunch of fish and a bunch of different species. Highly recommend Tommy we would use him again for sure.
