Capt Josh’s Offshore Charters is located in Port Isabel and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Capt. Josh is back for the 2022 season with a freshly restored sport boat equipped with the latest electronics and outfitted with over $6,000 worth of brand-new top-of-the-line Shimano Tiagra reels to help you reel in the fish of a lifetime!

Capt. Josh will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing, with 4 to 24-hour trips on the offer. Target Snapper and Grouper on the bottom and troll for scrappy King Mackerel and other pelagic species such as Sailfish, Tuna, and Marlin off of South Padre Island. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 25’ Topaz diesel boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers.

Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
