On Q Guide Service is located in Tiki Island and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.

Capt. John will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 6 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, drift fishing, popping, and spinning.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 23’ Shoalwater boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. Bait isn’t included in the trip price, so make sure to check with the captain what your options are before the trip. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

    Capt. John will take you on a fun-filled fishing trip in the Galveston Bay Complex. The trip lasts 6 hours and the targeted species are Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Trips include rods, reels, tackle, lures, ice, and bottled water. Fish cleaning and bagging are also included. Make sure to have a Texas saltwater fishing license for anglers 18 and above. The price of bait is not included in the price of the trip. It comes at an additional cost and varies on the type of bait.

Capt. John Q. was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he grew up fishing until 1996 when he moved to the Houston area. He has been fishing the Galveston Bay Complex for over 20 years. His goal is to provide customers with a great fishing experience and make memories to last a lifetime. Capt. John is patient and loves to work with all levels of fishermen/fisherwomen. He is fully licensed by the United States Coast Guard and Texas Parks and Wildlife. The captain provides drift, wade, and anchor fishing trips with live bait or lures.
