As captain I will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 3 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Flounder, Bass, Bluefish, Tuna and depending on the trip and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Flounder fishing is a great way to fill your cooler. With over 30 years of fishing in the Boston Harbor, the captain know the spots that hold the fish. From novice to expert, he’d love to put you on the fish and show you the Harbor.
Your fishing adventure starts on the Gertrude H, a 20’ Welcraft V20 Step lift boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with a very small toilet cuddy and an ice-box. This sport fishing boat has won numerous tournaments in Boston and surrounding yacht clubs. The crew consistently outfishes the big boats. If Your booking to catch fish Gertrude is perfect. 18 years fishing Boston Gertrude H is safe and will put fish on the deck.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. We always have ice and waters available to the clients.
