We really enjoyed our day, catching a few sharks and dolphin watching. Captain Allick was nice and knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

Our charter was for 6 hours deep sea fishing @ 7:15 am. The day prior too we were asked if we could do 6am. Ok, a bit early, but do able. Warning to all. No life jackets were ever presented to the us. It was beautiful watching the sun come up on the ocean. We went to catch “bait” and found nothing. Ok, we had some with us. We headed into the ocean where it was by the captains terms “angry” or “a bit sporty”. So went into south harbor to catch more “bait”. Nothing. We were here an hour before pulling up anchor and moving on.  Captain Allick was very knowledgeable of the area, wildlife and pleasant to speak with. Allick knew of a spot he caught a few from the day before. So when there. We dropped anchor and sat there for close to 2+ hours. We caught 3 sting Ray (small) and my son hooked something big, but the hook sting could only hold so much and the fish bit through it. Losing his catch right at the boat. The level of professionalism dwindled quickly as the captain kept pounding 5 hour energy and peeing off the back of the boat multiple times. On the ride back in my son was sitting next to him. I was informed by him that Allick reached into the cooler and slammed a beer on the drive in. Personally I feel that this had so many ways to improve for the cost of the trip, I have been on multiple other fishing excursions in HHI with other venues where safety was the number 1 concern followed by giving the family the best fishing opportunities. I have never sat in a spot for 2+ hours with the captain repeating “come on big fish”, or a captain peeing over the boat and definitely not drinking while driving! Think twice before booking with this organization.
