Booked a weekend trip with Cpt Cheyne for my son’s 18th birthday. We were in the area for a football game and decided to make a weekend out of it. Cheyne is very knowledgeable about the river and mangrove areas to fish. He was so involved with us throughout the trip and helped us get the hang of things. Everything was included (fishing gear, bait, water, etc) and Cheyne was on task every minute of the day - changing bait, restringing lines, getting lines unstuck and untangled, and finding good spots for us to cast. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Cheyne and will definitely be back!!

Fishing was a little slow due to weather or our casting abilities in the mangroves, but still caught fish. Cheyne is a good captain, knows where the bite is going to be.Definitely recommend him. Don’t mess with the drag on the poles just let him set u up and cast. Lost a good fish because I messed with drag on pole.

Highly recommended, captain is very patient and very knowledgeable, he knows where we can find fish. Even today is a heavy raining day, he didn’t show any negative signs, we had a very good trip, got lots of fish in the water, saw dolphins we tried different spots and every spots had a lot of fish. He was well prepared, enough live bait, different rods with great condition, boat is fast and clean, he bring us some water and have a cooler for fish we want to keep. Highly recommended!!!

Our family had a great afternoon on the water with Captain Cheyne! By the end of the trip our 8 y/o was casting her own rod and hasn’t stopped planning how she is going to practice casting for her next fish. There was no shortage of live bait, lots of bites and a bonus of seeing dolphins! My wife and I were doing the Disney thing for our anniversary, but she’s not a Disney gal. I booked a half day with Captain Cheyne as a surprise and was not disappointed. He promptly responded and gave me all of the information I needed. We started the day with the sunrise, dolphins dipping in and out of the water behind us, and a bucket full of live bait courtesy of the captain’s tracking and net-casting skills. He is very knowledgeable about his waters. My wife has been wanting to catch a snook for years. Today, she caught 2 along with an assortment of Reds, snappers, and trout. I caught the biggest fish I’ve ever battled. If it sounds like our best day of fishing ever, it’s because it was! Thank you, Captain Cheyne!
