We caught fish every day.  We hauled in prawn traps and ate fresh prawns every night. Fresh crab one night. Exciting catches of fish . Everyone had a great fishing experience. Capt was full of interesting tales about the local area as well as other fish stories. We were kept entertained every day.  Our paid for 10 hour days always became 12 hour days with no extra charge. He came home when we want to come home. Great trip.

Lloyd is a very knowledgeable and excellent fishing guide.  He knew where to fish and what catch catch in each location.  He was very patient with me because I am first time fisherperson.  He is a great teacher and conversationalist which made the day just fly by!  Lloyd even put out crab and prawn traps so we had a bonus to take home at the end of the day!  Thanks Lloyd!!

My only recommendations about his boat are to have a bathroom which is not possible and chairs to sit in on the back of the boat.  It was awkward to sit in the cabin all day and watch the lines and could be more comfortable with chairs closer to the fishing rods.

If you want someone who will spend the time explaining how everything works and is so positive and calm even when you snag bottom. Captain Lloyd is your man. He has eyes in the back of his head to watch both rods. He lives and loves to fish so it is not a job for him but a passion to fish and show and help others. His mannerism and gentleness can not be under stated compared to other guides we have gone with. He is a 10 when it comes to personality

Lloyd works hard to please his clients. We caught halibut, lingcods and rockfish. Pulling the prawn traps at the end of the day added to the experience and the prawns made a fantastic supper. We will be fishing with Lloyd again.
