The skipper has been fishing and guiding in NZ since he arrived here in 2003 and was amazed by the scenery and volume of fish all around the islands. He has always been passionate about lure fishing and was fortunate enough to meet and help some of the leading lure manufacture in the industry locally and abroad. Since he was hooked up, the skipper has always challenged himself to understand fish better, learn to target as many species as he could on light gear, and improve his angling skills. One of the main reasons he made NZ his home in the last 20 years is the mighty Kingfish, a fish that test your skills to the limit. It can be caught in many ways and is easy to catch and release.
