Skipper Tom McAuliffe is your fly fishing guide in the lower South Island of New Zealand. An expert in the local fishery, he’ll guide you onto stalking wild Trout on some of the finest waters in the world.

The lower South Island is considered the anglers’ "El Dorado" and is an absolute must-do for fly fishers all over the world. The fish are large, the water gin-clear, and the scenery is mind-blowing. It’s a challenging, but incredibly rewarding fishery.

Up to 3 guests can join a trip. Your group and Skipper Tom will be chasing Brown and Rainbow Trout in rivers, lakes, or backcountry waters. You’ll be attracting the fish by fly fishing on light tackle. All the fish you catch will have to be released back into the water.

The skipper provides fly fishing equipment along with drinks. Lunch is provided on full-day trips. Before you start your adventure, you should pack some nibble food to stay energized and bring your fishing licences.
