Capt. Matt Dandy offers a specialized fishing trip for everyone. Whether you are a first-timer looking to bend a rod or a seasoned angler targeting the fish of a lifetime, they’ll make sure you enjoy your fishing trip!
Capt Matt offers pickup locations in Sarasota, Lido Key, Longboat Key, and Siesta Key.
Capt. Matt fishes in the bay/inshore as well as nearshore in the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll target Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, and Cobia, but you never know what you might catch depending on the season. You are welcome to bring home for dinner any fish that are legal to keep, and captain Matt will fillet and bag your catch.
You will be fishing aboard a 1974 Aquasport boat which was recently rebuilt from the stringers up. The boat is equipped with a Livewell, GPS, FishFinder, trolling motor, and a brand-new Suzuki motor. There is dry storage for bags.
Up to four guests are welcome and kids are too! However, please let the captain know ahead of time, so proper life jackets can be supplied for any children 6 years or younger.
Captain Matt has all the rods, reels, hooks, and weights needed. As well as all fishing licenses. Two coolers are also on the boat one for fish you wish to keep for dinner and one for drinks and food you wish to bring. Water bottles are provided.
