Sea Unlimited runs guided fishing charters out of Fisherman’s Wharf Marina, Virginia Beach. Situated close to the Rudee inlet, they are ideally located to access the incredible deep sea fishing opportunities on the US East Coast. Captain Scotty Edwards is very passionate about fishing, so he’ll help you have the time of your life!
You’ll fish aboard Carmel E, a 44’ Albemarle offshore sportfishing boat. It’s fully equipped with new, top of the range electronics by Raymarine and Furuno to put you on fish while keeping you safe. The boat is powered by twin 710 HP Cat engines, getting you to the fishing grounds as soon as possible.
On board, there’s both air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort. A well-equipped kitchen, private head, and direct TV will cater to the needs of everyone in your group.
The fishing equipment is top-notch, with a custom made fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, and a center rigger all fitted on board to allow you to fish like a pro. You’ll be using high-quality gear, mostly by Penn International and Shimano, and Capt. Scotty will have live bait ready for you on board as well.
The waters off the coast of Virginia are very fish-rich so you can expect to reel in different species of fish. You’ll be able to use a variety of fishing techniques, from trolling to bottom fishing and jigging. Expect to target some of the area’s most exciting game fish like Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, and Tuna.
Capt. Scotty Edwards and Jeff Hill are dedicated to putting you on the fish. They’re a team that’ll work together to provide you with a productive fishing experience. They are a family-friendly company that encourages taking young anglers fishing, so don’t hesitate to bring your kids along for the ride and make some family memories.
Keep in mind that there may be a fuel surcharge if the dock fuel price is more than $3.50 a gallon.
