Come and enjoy your day on the beautiful waters of the Everglades National Park and the 10,000 islands! Captain Dan Dixon has been fishing the area for over 30 years, since he was a teenager. His devotion to fishing the area and learning new things about it has given him in-depth knowledge of where the fish are.
No two days of fishing the Everglades are the same, and Capt. Dan loves sharing his passion for the area with guests on his charter fishing boat. Despite the fact that he fishes the area every day, he is still amazed by the beauty of the place and the variety of fish that are available there.
Capt. Dan fishes aboard a 22’ Pathfinder Tournament Edition center console boat. The boat offers plenty of space for you and your fishing party, accommodating up to 4 anglers with ease. It is powered by a 175 HP Yamaha engine that allows it to reach different fishing areas with ease. The boat has a large livewell for your live bait, and it is also equipped with plenty of storage space for your belongings.
You’ll be using Star Rods and Penn Reels with a variety of live bait and artificial lures. After a successful day on the water, the captain will be happy to clean and fillet your catch so you can take it home and prepare a delicious meal.
Whatever your target species, Capt. Dan is confident he will be able to put you on the fish you’re after, depending on the season and weather conditions. He fishes for Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, and all the other species that inhabit the bountiful waters of the Everglades. He mainly fishes the shallow coves, rivers, bays, and grass flats along the coast of the National Park.
More than anything else, Capt. Dan enjoys helping people learn how to fish in the Everglades. Seeing people catch the fish of a lifetime is the highlight of being a charter guide, and he’s happy that he gets to see this happen often.
