Setting off from Orleans, Sea Charters Sportfishing offers remarkable offshore and nearshore fishing. Captain Charles Gallagher has lived and fished here since he was a child. He has operated Sea Charters with his sons for 20 years, providing him with the experience to make this an unforgettable fishing trip.

Their 34’ Venture performance fishing boat is designed for maximum visibility and comfort. Powered by two 250 HP Suzuki engines, you’ll get to the hottest spots in no time. There’s a flybridge for you to relax on as you drift to sea, as well as a shower, galley, bedroom, and AC for the full luxury treatment.

Capt. Charles uses a wide variety of techniques including deep sea fishing, bottom fishing, light tackle, popping, and jigging. All rods and reels are provided, as well as a range of lures and live bait. At the end of the day, the captain will clean and prepare your catch for you to take home and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

These waters are home to a wide variety of fish species, so there’s always something you can target. If you go offshore, you’ll mainly fish for Tuna and Shark, or target Striped Bass inshore. However, you can also fish for Mahi Mahi, Fluke, Bluefish, and more depending on the season and conditions.

Known as one of the most popular fishing destinations with its bays and proximity to the open seas, Cape Cod has something for everyone. Make sure to bring cash, since there is no possibility to use credit cards.

Captain Charles Gallagher has been fishing the waters off Cape Cod since his family moved to the Cape when he was a young boy. He received his USCG license in 1998 and has operated Sea Charters with his sons since then. His desire to fish for all species has taken him from the waters of the Cape to southern Florida, Cabo Mexico and the Caribbean. This travel serves to increase the wealth of knowledge and experience which he brings to his charter customers on every trip.
