Fun in the Sun Sportfishing Nosara
Fun in the Sun Sportfishing is nestled right next to Garza Bay, just minutes away from some incredible fishing and surfing spots! Captain Howard Abshere fell in love with Costa Rican culture, as well as its immense fishing opportunities, so these days, he’s sharing that passion with his customers.
Spend the day aboard his 28’ Costa center console, which is outfitted with twin 150HP Evinrude engines and can sit up to 8 people. With reliable electronics, outriggers, and a live bait well, you’re fully equipped for your fishing adventure. There’s a private toilet on board and ample seating.
This modern vessel was built to make the most of these waters. Her shady T-top keeps the tropical sun at bay, while her front rail keeps you and your party safe. The vessel is stable enough to get offshore in search of Marlin and Sailfish but she can still get into the bays where Roosterfish hide.
Even on a half day trip, you’ll be able to enjoy some big game hookups in the deep waters just a stone’s throw from shore. Head out on a full day trip, and you can take on Blue and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, and so much more. You can also split your time between the bay and the bluewater to really get the most out of the area.
Whatever type of fishing and technique you choose, you’ll find quality equipment waiting onboard. That means rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, and flies – all you need is a valid fishing license. On top of all this, you’ll get a tasty lunch and a range of refreshments to keep you going.
Captain Howard Abshere has thought of everything so you don’t have to. He can tailor every trip to your wants and needs and will be on hand to keep you hooked up all day long. So head down to Garza Bay, get onto the water, and enjoy your day with Fun in the Sun Sportfishing!
