Trip Summary

OFFSHORE REBEL UK - DOES COSTA RICA! We are just wrapping up a fantastic week’s fishing with Tim & Jamie Pullin from Offshore Rebel charters in Weymouth, UK who joined us aboard GOOD DAY for some world class Fishing in Costa Rica. They guys have had a blast over the past week & caught some real quality fish. Some highlights of the week: 17 Species caught Great company & some lovely fish suppers! Roosterfish to 50lb Dorado to 45lb 40lb+ Wahoo for Tim 5 Sailfish up to 90lb 15lb Blue Fin Travelly We missed a Blue Marlin that ate a bait on Tim’s Spinning rod, that one would have been epic! Catch report - Day 4 10 Dorado 40lb+ Wahoo 1 Sailfish - 1st ever Billfish for Jamie! 1 Tuna 2 Triggerfish 1 Rainbow Runner A few mini species for Tim & a ton of Bonitos It was a really fantastic day with great species variety. We trolled, fished live Bonitos, live sardines, chunk baits whilst ground baiting, used slow jigs & soft plastics courtesy of seabooms. All 'n' all, a perfect days fishing! Catch Report - Day 5 8 Dorado 2 for 3 on Sailfish 2 Tuna LOTS of missed Dorado & Tuna bites today but it was a super chilled day of fishing, the pressure is always off when you catch the first fish early in the day. Jamie caught a Sailfish on a Spinning rod & the guys each caught plenty of Dorado on the spinning rods, great fun on light tackle. The guys are fishing their final day in Costa Rica today aboard IDRA 2, a 25’ Centre Console in search of some Snook, fingers crossed!
