Trip Summary

Took a run out to the hard coral bottom area and were rewarded with this nice 30" Gag Grouper. The fish scarfed a live Grunt on 50lb test. What a powerful and gorgeous creature!

It has been very windy this spring but it hasnt stopped the Kingfish from making their Bi-Annual visit to out local beaches. We have been having some "big luck" using som "big baits". What an amazing fish out Creator made!

The breeze may have kept us off of the Gulf but the Bay was calm and the bite was "fire". Caught all kinds of fish and kept a table full of some of the best tasting fish in Florida - Snapper, Sheepshead and Key West "Grunts".
