Been In It Charters provides fun-filled fishing trips on the Emerald Coast of beautiful Destin, Florida. He is also a certified EMT, so he promises to keep you safe throughout the trip.
Been In It Charters uses the ‘Cadillac of all boats,’ a 33’ World Cat Tournament Edition, built in 2006 that is equipped with newly-fitted twin 300 HP Mercury engines. The boat is a catamaran center console type vessel, equipped with a T-top for comfort and shade, and an enclosed toilet in the forward cabin.
There’s a variety of fish that call these productive waters their home. Prepare to battle some of the prized species in the area, including Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Grouper, Cobia, and Mahi Mahi.
The crew’s motto is “If you’re willing to go out, we’re gone.” All you need to bring for your day of fun is food and your preferred drinks, and it is recommended that you bring plenty of sunscreen. Before the trip, discuss the cool situation with the captain. The boat is equipped with a large enough cooler to accommodate all 6 people.
Please be sure to bring sunglasses to keep fatigue at a minimum. The captain supplies plenty of ice for drinks and fish, Ginger Ale (aids seasickness) and always keep a case of water on hand. The customary gratuity for the crew is 15-20%.
Capt. Frank can pick you up in Destin, but also in Fort Walton and Okaloosa Island as well. Let him know what suits you best.
