First Strike Charters is a Bahamian owned and operated business offering first-class fishing trips with an experienced crew. They will take you out on the clear blue waters of the Bahamas aboard this luxury boat and give their all to help you have a fun time while catching some of the world’s most desirable fish species. They love to share their knowledge and excitement of their home country waters.
The boat is a 43 foot Bertram saltwater fishing boat, which was originally built in 1988 and restored in 2014. It is powered by two 550 HP Detroit diesel engines that make it a relatively fast sound vessel that will get you to your fishing spot fairly quickly. The boat can easily accommodate up to 10 guests who will all have enough space and comfort to fish and relax, depending on their preference. It contains a GPS, a fishfinder, a fighting chair, spearfishing and snorkeling equipment, outriggers, an icebox and a flybridge. The boat also has a toilet, a bed, a kitchen with a refrigerator, and air conditioning for your comfort.
First Strike Charters can take you on nearshore and offshore fishing trips where you can enjoy catching species such as Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Goliath Grouper, Wahoo, Red Snapper and Blue Marlin. The experienced crew will guide and educate you on the best technique for catching each species. They will also provide you with the necessary equipment such as rods, reels, tackle, lures and live baits. You will have a first mate onboard to assist you with fishing activities. The crew will also happily clean and fillet your catch and can recommend a restaurant that will prepare your catch for a reduced price.
