Booked Captain Bill less than 24 hours before the trip and he agreed to take us out! He contacted us to see if we were flexible with times because he wanted to plan our trip around the tides. We had two 15-year-old boys fairly new to fishing who just wanted catch some fish. Capt Bill is a wealth of local knowledge and was great with teaching the boys some fishing techniques. We caught flounder, blue, red, trout, and a couple of crabs. After he cleaned them we took his advice and took the filets to Singleton’s nearby where they fried and grilled our fresh catch for around $2.50/lb! The boat was comfortable (and has a bathroom!) and we had a great day in the water! It was the perfect charter for our young fishermen!

Every trip I have done with Capt. Bill so far has been inshore, always came home with fish for dinner and my dad caught a 38” red on his last trip with us, fish of a lifetime! When my dad visits from NY we fish with Capt. Bill, not even a second thought! I trust Capt. Bill without question and when he said “Mike we should go offshore tomorrow instead of inshore” I was all in. What a day we had, the action was non-stop from the first drop to the last! I caught four new species of fish with the most thrilling one being a Cobia! Capt. Bill keeps an immaculate boat, his knowledge is extensive, he puts you on the fish and he is a heck of a nice guy! I sent pics from the trip to all my buddies and said “Now you know why you have to come fishing with me in JAX on Hooker Charters!”. I’m a customer for life and can’t wait to go again!

My friend and I booked Captain Bills offshore trip and we were not disappointed! The Captain said he would put us over some good fishing spots, and that’s exactly what he did. While the water the a little more choppy than we all intended, Captain made the best of the conditions and followed through with helping us take home a decent catch. All in all, we caught many seabass, red snapper, vermillian snapper, and a large Cobia! We had a great time and will recommend this charter to anyone looking to have a real and fruitful offshore fishing experience.

My wife and I went down for our honeymoon and we really wanted to try off shore fishing for the first time.  Weather didn’t let it happen the first day but captain Bill put took us inshore instead and put us right on flounder, Mangrove snapper, pinfish, Jack, and more. 3 days later the weather was cooperating and he took us off shore and caught our limit of triggerfish, which is some of the best tasting fish we have ever had. Caught amber jack, trigger, sea bass, vermillion snapper, red snapper (can’t keep it,  but amazing time bringing them in) ringtail porgy, grunts, had a shot at a barracuda.  We saw jellyfish,  dolphins,  sea turtles, ramora, even had a shark on the line at one point.
  Both trips were everything we could have asked for.  Wound up with 33 keepers, caught well over 200 fish. The line was hitting fish before the bait even made it to the bottom!  Was the highlight of our trip and captain Bill was the reason that the trip was so successful.  Everything he said we were looking for we found, and right where he said it would be.  We are already trying to plan our next trip out!  Would highly recommend both of these trips as they are completely different experiences and both worth every penny!!

Because of sea sickness we really were hoping to fish inshore, but Captain Bill was upfront telling us that would be tough with outgoing tide and heat.
We decided to go a little farther out, and to be honest the fishing wasn’t great. However. We did lose one large redfish trying to transfer the rid to the 8 year old of our party. Even so we saw dolphin, one large sea turtle, naval and coast guard boats. Unfortunately, a few of our party became ill, but Captain Bill took us back in. He then took the 8 year old and Dad back out to make sure he caught a few fish.
  We enjoyed Captain Bills information on area, and he entertained us with his stories. We will be coming down this winter so hopefully try again when inshore fishing is better.
