It was a nice day after all, we waited all week looking at the weather it said rain, then there was no rain in the report anymore and we are on our way, it did drizzle but didn’t stop Captain Stu and Eric from putting us on the fish, we had a Hook Mash blast pulling in rockfish even though we Mash back 5 we Hook 6 nice keepers and it felt good thanks again Hook Mash Charter. Don’t let the rain get in your way.

We had a great time and learned a lot on the Hooker Mash.  Capt. Mike kept things upbeat and put us on fish.  Had some time to get some bait fish restocked which was face paced and good learning experience.  Finished the day making the trip complete by catching rest of our limit within an hour.  First mate Billy was patient and joked around with our boys as he taught them a thing or two!  Had a blast! Billy was able to filet all 16 fish quickly at end of trip before their next charter. These guys know their stuff and will get it done!  Thank you for everything!

Amazing time fishing with Captain Stu and First Mate Chris. This was the first fishing on a boat for everyone except myself and Chris was super helpful getting everyone relaxed as we traveled to our fishing spot. Stu made sure that we got or limit of Rock Fish and then took us to other spots so we could catch more fish just for the experience.

As you can see by the photos, we had some very young anglers on the boat and the excitement of watching them reeling in their very first Rock Fish was priceless and can’t wait to get them back out there on the open waters.

Capt Stu and company were great. They picked a great spot for fishing and the conversations were pleasant. A great experience and worth the price. My only complaint ,which may or may not be their issue to fix, is that the instructions to the address says “Go through the gate and the boat is on the right”. However the gate is locked and you need a code to get in as it is a members only area. We waited 15min at the gate until somebody walking their dog let us in. Other than that everything was great.

6 hour trip with a mix of first timers and experienced anglers. Everyone had a great time and had 5+ catches per person. Captain made the trip easy to coordinate and took us to great locations with action at every stop. 1st mate Chris was exceptional - gave great instruction, taught us about the equipment and technique, filleted our catch, and made the whole trip fun and exciting. Overall great experience that we will definitely do again.
