Long Time Com’n Charters offers great days out fishing Lake Okeechobee for freshwater species, and inshore on the Atlantic for saltwater fish. On the Lake, they fish for Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Alligator Gars, and Catfish. Lake Okeechobee’s reputation for being a great place to Bass fish is well deserved. The lake is large, and the opportunities for a great catch are numerous!
There are many places to take advantage of changing conditions — if you know where to go. That’s where a guide makes the difference. Captain Dan can take you where he knows the fish will be biting. They primarily fish the north side of the lake but can go any place they need to find the fish. From Palm City, they can fish for Snook and Snappers on the St. Lucie River and can access the ocean front for Sharks, Redfish, and other saltwater species. They can have you fishing in minutes!
The 24’ Nautic Star you will be fishing aboard has room for 4 guests, and is the perfect vessel for exploring the lake. The boat is a floating tackle box with everything you’ll need to have a quality fishing experience, including GPS, fishfinder, a trolling motor, and all fishing tackle. Live bait can also be purchased on site for a small additional fee, and a live bait tank will be supplied to keep it that way from the duration of your trip.
Long Time Com’n Charters provides all the equipment for you to try a variety of fishing techniques on your trip. From spinning and popping, to jigging and even bowfishing – everybody likes something different, but you will be sure to find what you’re after with Long Time Com’n. The lake is also famous for its amazing wildlife, with alligators, eagles, and even manatees found living in and around it, so even between bites, you definitely won’t lack for excitement!
This really is a great all-round day out, so grab your cooler and your camera and head on down for some good times and awesome fish!
