the group wanted to target Mahi Mahi, we went out and got a Mahi Mahi in the first hour but everything was slow.  We had 3 first timers in our group, 2 foreign exchange students and my niece.  We spent the next 3 hours dragging bait with no action.  Captain decided to move further out with the same result so we decided to bottom fish.  We immediately had good action with Jacks, snapper and obviously sharks that were interested in our catches.  The kids had a great time.  Captain Jay was personable and worked to get us on fish all day.  Took pride in his work.  First Mate Robbie was a gem.  Was patient and took time with the kids to help them fight their fish and make sure they were successful.  Robbie never quit working and helping the kids.  The experience was a positive successful one on so many different levels.  Even a slow day at the beginning can end up a busy day at the end.  Thank you to Captain Jay and first mate Robbie.

I had a 9 hour trip with Captain Jay and his first mate, Rob.  They were down to earth,  easy going people.  They knew where the fish were and thorough with their instructions.  They were will to go as far as you need to make sure your experience was top notch.  Caught a 12 ft sand shark and quite a few other.  Cleaned the fish and explained how to prepare them.  Awesome experience and would recommend!

My wife booked this trip a month out. We did our homework and have family in the area. He is highly recommended and did not disappoint.  Jay and his boat hand were amazing!  We left the dock at 6:00am and found it rough going on the water. It was so rough that after landing 1 good size King, 2 of our party got so sick they had to come in. Jay was more than accommodating and drove all the way back, dropped them off and went back out with me and my son. We caught 3 more King, a Bonita, and a shark. We had a few more opportunities to land fish but lost them. The crew knows what they are doing and did their best to put us on fish. We moved to several locations for better results but they were just not biting like he wanted them to. The waves also kept us from going to other places because it was such a rough ride. This crew knows what they are doing. They want to catch fish and go above and beyond to make that happen. If you don’t catch what you want, it’s not because of the crew, it’s simply because they just were not biting that day. I will repeat…..great crew!

Captain Jay and the Deckhand Robert were both professional and fun to hang out with, they took us to the right spot got the fish we wanted mahi-mahis. Lots of action! I highly recommend Fish Master they know what they are doing; including providing safety briefing before going out, showed us how to work the equipment, provided us fishing information on what is being caught, and continuously kept the deck area accessible, clean, and safe. Even provided a bucket if you get sick, these guys really care about their customers. Thank you, Fish Master we cannot wait for the next trip!

Received a call from Cpt Jay to ask if we wanted to get an early start, we did. Caught bait before heading out. Waters nearshore were rough but, with the skill of the Cpt and first mate we made it through safely. We went offshore and got on troll caught some bonita and smaller dolphinfish then went out further caught some larger dolphin, a wahoo and a baracuda. On the way in we stopped and did some bottom fishing caught and released several red snapper and a small shark. All in all a great trip and plan on going again.
