The day was bumpy, with 4-6 ft rollers. With 10-20 mph winds out of the SE. We were going to have our trip start on a trolling program and then sit on the hook to jig fish. With the rough weather, our group stayed on course to the trolling program to see the day through, so no one would get sick sitting in one spot (on the hook).

These two guys are exceptionally professional and will do their best (giving the circumstances.) to make the experience as best as it can be for an off shore trip. Being from MN and fishing the Great Lakes frequently , our group did very well (not getting sick).
Thanks again Troy and Chris for an awesome adventure, we will be back to fish with Miller time sport fishing!

Captain Troy and First Mate Chris are awesome, got us on the water and caught plenty of fish, A good variety to eat and some bragging rights too. Capt. Troy made our family vacation complete after another captain with a different charter service cancelled on us with only 30 minutes notice. LUCKY FOR US WE FOUND MILLER TIME and Captain Troy had us on the water and catching fish the next day!!  Troy and Chris are a great team. Chris never stopped working to get the fish on and Troy had some good honey holes to get the fish on. We had several double hits which made it exciting. It’s fun fishing when the captain and the first mate are excited about the catch landed! The fish were cleaned nicely and bagged for us and then Chris made a good suggestion for taking our fish for dinner. We highly recommend using MILLER TIME for your next charter. My college age grandson was determined to bring back something that was worthy of a River Monsters episode.
He was worn out landing a nearly four foot Amberjack, not to mention a close (but ultimately unsuccessful)  encounter with a barracuda. Great time, good guys who know where the big fish are found.

Even though the weather did not produce a lot of fish, these two people worked their butts off trying to put us on fish. My wife and I have fished all over the Gulf and Atlantic we haven’t had two people work as hard as these two did to put us on fish that weren’t going to bite. Turns out no boats were catching fish that day and we were the only boat with fish to take pictures with. That is why it’s called fishing. You won’t be sorry if you charter this boat.
