Boston Fish Tales is a very trustworthy and friendly fishing charter for those who are looking for a fun adventure out on the water. My family and I had a great time fishing for striped bass early in the morning as we caught quite a few. With the many years of experience and knowledge, Captain Joe and his crew mate have, they were able to find the perfect places for us to catch large fish and bait. My trip and experience was heavily improved by the friendliness and help provided by the crew. Overall, I would recommend this charter to anyone looking for a wonderful fishing excursion as the whole trip was memorable and fun. Thank you Captain Joe for one of the best fishing experiences I’ve ever had.

I can’t find the words the explain what a fabulous trip this was!!
Not only was Joe hugely responsive beforehand, making sure we had a nice day for it, knew where to go and what to bring (just ourselves, snacks, a cooler), but both he and his crew mate Nico were super friendly and helpful and kind and enthusiastic and knowledgeable and funny and fun for the entire trip.
We caught sooo many fish we lost count. We brought home several huge ones (within state laws/limits of course). We kissed fish (eww but my 8 year old loooved that). Joe and Nico were fantastic with my son who got to reel in fish with help and even got the hang of it and reeled in a huge one all on his own!! We fed seagulls fish bits and talked and laughed and learned and spent hours on the water.

I cannot say enough what a great experience this was. It was a huge adventure and we were 100% part of it. They fileted the bass for us and we cooked some of it up (we got so much we didn’t eat it all yet) when we got home and it was delicious!

As my 8.5 year old said “that was the bestest day ever!”

Great trip out on the water. Experience catching bait fish and strippers using a few different techniques. The fishing was fast paced, moving around the bay regularly to different spots. Captain Joe did not hesitate to have lines reeled up and move to a new spot where the fish were biting. You get to drop the lines, set the hooks and reel those beauties up to the boat. Such a great day with a great crew whose experience on the water was evident. Of note, we misunderstood that the payment was through the credit card, but that is only the booking fee, so we had to get cash at the local bank machine to get the payment for the boat. Joe was very understanding and patient with our mistake. Thanks Joe and Arther.

Had a great time fishing, Capt. Joe and 1st mate Artie did a great job teaching us a new technique. We caught about 20 stripers on the day. Capt. didn’t hesitate to move if the fish weren’t biting. Joe and Artie did a great job giving us some history lessons on the area we were fishing in. I would highly recommend Boston Fish Tales and Captain Joe. If we come back to Boston we are definitely doing this again. Great job Capt. Joe and Artie.

Captain Joe and first Mate Artie were top notch. They had us in fish from start to finish!! The complete setup from boat to poles were perfect. I have booked many of day charters over the years and this one ranks at the top from catching the amount of targeted fish; to the overall experience provided by Capt. Joe and First Mate Artie. Can’t wait to do it again gentlemen.
