Lately we have been catching plenty of the perfect eating size (2-5lb) black drum along with lots of smaller redfish and the occasional sheepshead. Speckled trout are soon to show up on better numbers. March is the big Sheepshead catching month! It’s usuall fast action with hard fighting and delicious tasting fish. Their meat is great, clear/white meat that is most similar to red snapper meat. Most of our trips to target sheepshead are 6 hour trips as they gather slightly offshore. March gets filled up quick so make sure to book a date!
