Trip Summary

Red Snapper Fishing continues to be outstanding! The current has been as strong as I have ever fished but it hasn't kept us from catching our snapper limits! The ripping current has made the ole captain earn his pay! The water is still stained after Tropical Storm Cindy with all of the river flooding but it looked much better by the end of the week. The stained water may have made the snapper fishing better! We are catching kings and Bonita on the drift lines while snapper fishing on most trips. The inshore conditions are improving but still has lots of fresh water draining into the bay. The Speckled Trout bite and Red Fish bite is getting better by the day. We have also been catching Bull Reds near the pass. The shrimping was poor at the beginning of the week but got better as the salinity improved. Only a few weekends of snapper season left! Book a trip and let's go fishing. We love to take kids and families fishing!!!!
