Step aboard an 18’ Makee powered by a 115 HP Mercury engine. This craft comes equipped with advanced fishing technology, including GPS, fishfinder, and a wireless trolling motor. The boat can carry up to three passengers. Children of all ages and pets are welcome.
Catch Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Clown Knife Fish, and the occasional Snook or Tarpon. These are some of South Florida’s most exotic and hard-fighting fish. Capt. Sam will help you target your catch using the most effective method, whether you choose light tackle or fly fishing.
You’re welcome to join Capt. Sam any time it suits you. Choose a trip in the morning or at sunset for the best bites of the day, or come aboard for a few spare hours in the afternoon. You can also join Capt. Sam in Markham Park for greater numbers of Tarpon and Snook in addition to Peacock and Largemouth Bass.
You can also come aboard for an eco tour. The waterways of South Florida are home to alligators, a variety of birds, and other wildlife that you don’t get to see up close every day.
Trips with Sam Can Fish include fishing gear. Beer can be provided upon request, or you may bring your own alcohol. Capt. Sam can supply rods for children as well as fly fishing equipment. All you have to bring is a freshwater fishing license and your enthusiasm!
Capt. Sam also runs his trips from Everglades Holiday Part in Fort Lauderdale and Blue Lagoon in Miami, whatever is best for you. Come and spend a day battling Florida’s top freshwater gamefish. This is a trip you won’t soon forget!
