My two cousins and I went out with Capt. Travis for a 6-hour bottom fishing trip.  We caught a ton of fish, including 2 6-8 ft sharks, a Bonita, several Red Snapper,  (that were out of season and had to be put back). We saw several Baracuda and a sea turtle.  On the way back we saw a few pods of dolphins.  We will be chartering with Capt Travis again soon.

The Captain, Travis, is an extremely knowledgable and eager Captain that did not mess around when it comes to putting us on fish. He handled his vessel extremely well and kept us dry the entire trip both ways. His mate, John, was always there to help out when we needed but also knew when we had things under control.

We started out going into very deep water which we caught some large, if not close to sitation, Beliners, & Triggers, along some nice Red Snapper, and a couple of Amberjack that fed the neighborhood for 2 days straight! We then moved to a few more spots until we nearly hit our limit on everything that was biting.

By the time the day was over, we had a meat wagon of fish to share and some great fish tales to tell.  I will definitely be going back out with these gentlemen again!

We went on a 6hr charter with Capt Travis. As soon as we started dropping lines in the water, our lines got tight.  He definitely knows where the fish are!

Had a great day on the water with Capt Travis.  After a short time working the beach for bait fish, we quickly went offshore.  The 32’ Contender was an awesome fishing boat, fast, comfortable, and rode well in chop.  With the speed of this boat, we spent a lot less time traveling to the fish and a lot more time catching fish.  Capt. Travis had us on fish all day.  We moved through 3 different spots / wrecks throughout the 6 hours and traveled out as far as to within 5 miles of the gulf-stream.  We caught multiple Cobia, African Pompono, and Barracuda.  We had plenty of fish to take home for dinner on top of the ones we released.  The fishing tackle and gear was in good shape, with top-quality rods and reels.  Travis came prepared with plenty of rods and set up for any kind of fish we wanted to go after - Kingfish, trolling, bottom fishing, etc.  The crew was excellent and handled all the hooks, bait, setup, etc. - all we had to do was wait for the bite and reel them in!  I would highly recommend booking Capt Travis and “On a Mission Sportfishing” for any offshore trip.  Thanks Travis!
