Madfish Charters takes you on a fishing trip out of Panama City. You could be looking for an inshore family trip or an offshore adventure, the crew of Madfish Charters has you covered. Year-round, these fishermen will put you on some tasty and feisty fish, so you and your friends can have a trip to remember.
You will be fishing from a 24’ Sea Hunt bay boat. Onboard, you will find all the fishing gear you need on your trip. Shimano and Penn rods, reels spooled with PowerPro braid, as well as the safety gear. The boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha four-stroke engine, and features two Lowrance HDS, Hummingbird electronics, AM/FM stereo, two livewells, a trolling motor, Minnkota riptide remote, a spot finder to easily get to the fish, as well as plenty of rod storage, and a porta potty. The boat also comes equipped with a T-top with enough shade for everyone aboard. The boat can accommodate up to five anglers.
If you want to fish inshore, you can hope to catch some Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Sheepshead. They put up a nice fight, and your kids are going to love it.
When you head further out, you can get King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, and more. These fish fight hard and you should get your biceps ready.
Bottom fishing with Madfish Charters will produce Red and Vermillion Snapper, Gag and Red Grouper, Amberjack, and more. The season varies, but most of the time there will be something in the water worth catching.
The crew will provide the gear, you should only bring snacks and drinks. Other than that, put on sunscreen, a cap, and sunglasses. When it comes to clothes, it’s the safest to dress in layers. Also, pack a camera to get a nice shot of your catch. Make sure to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. You will find a cooler with ice for your fish on the boat. Book your spot and come onboard!
