Outcast Guide Service takes you fishing on the majestic Sacramento River where you can get Striped Bass and Salmon and enjoy the scenery. These seasonal packages will be a great add-on to your vacation or any given day for that matter, as you will be fishing for tasty and prestigious fish with a seasoned captain.

He knows the river well. He’s been fishing the Sacramento River and its tributaries for years. He is familiar with the good spots and will work to make your day on the water worth the while.

You will join the captain aboard his 22’ Jetcraft jet boat that was restored in 2017. She has a pair of 350 HP Kodiak engines, as well as a trolling motor, and can accommodate up to 5 anglers. The boat is fitted with GPS and a fishfinder, and also has a live bait well. You will find a range of fishing gear onboard that works well with Stripers and Salmon.

This part of the Sacramento River fishes well for Striped Bass from mid-March until mid-May. After a summer break the fisheries lit up with Salmon action and you can get these fellas from late August until the second half of December.

As the captain will provide all the gear, all you need to buy a fishing license before the trip. Bring food and drinks, wear adequate clothes depending on the weather, but dress in layers. It’s good to have sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses by your side. And of course, bring a camera to make some nice photos of your catch.
