Due to unstable spring weather in this area ie: high winds, stained bay waters I highly recommend choosing an off shore charter ( greater than 9 miles out) for clear blue off shore waters to fish in. From June until the end of regulation season Snapper and Grouper fishing can't be beat!

My family of 4 adults nd 2 kids ages 7 and 10 had a great experience with Cap't Richard. He was well equipped and experienced in fishing from the beach, not something you see often. We had a great time, caught a small shark and a few other small fish but got some good tips for future surf fishing. We'll be back!

Had an outstanding day with Capt Richard and Michelle. They came to our rental unit and we fished directly behind the house on St George’s Island FL. Richard is a wealth of fishing knowledge and he took his time explaining casting location, rig configuration, and fishing techniques. Our family had a great time and would highly recommend Richard and Michelle for a shore fishing experience.

Captain Wes and First Mate Don worked extremely hard to put us on fish. Both are really great guys and we enjoyed their company. Although fishing started off slow, their hard worked payed off and we ended up catching fish. All in all a great day!

Great time was had by all!! Captain Wes and first mate Don went above and beyond to make our day successful! We caught a lot of fish but by no fault of theirs the season for red snapper didn’t come in for two days unbeknownst to us at the time of booking. We still had a great time! Hope to fish with them again!

Captain Richard was FANTASTIC! He came to our rental and we fished right off our beach. We were catching fish and no one else on the beach appeared to be catching fish. Captain Richard was a source of vast knowledge and entertainment. We highly recommend Captain Richard and the beach fishing experience and will do it again when we return to the area! We caught a variety of fish including a SHARK!

We took an extended Labor Day weekend trip to St. George Island and it did not disappoint! We wanted to deep sea fish with a local who knew the area, and Fish King was just what we needed. They’re local, live on the island, and are all around great gentlemen. The boat and rods were clean, the conversation was great, and we will definitely be back next Snapper season.

We had a great trip with Fish King charters. Captain Wes and the deck hand were great to fish with. We caught a limit of some really nice red snapper pretty quick, and also some large grouper. The boat and equipment were in great shape and I would definitely recommend the trip to anyone looking for a fishing charter.

Fish King was the most well equipped boat in which I have ever fished from. Capt Wes's ability to put us on the fish allowed us to limit out on Snapper and Grouper. The experience was more than we anticipated and we will definitely book with him again.
