They're laying out there in large schools, waiting for the water to get colder so that they can move up the rivers & creeks to spawn. As it was stated to me, they're not feeding. You have to piss them off with shiny objects that will make them attack whatever you're using. It's a totally different style of fishing for me, but it's really cool.

Our time with Captain Tom and Pete was great. Crew was very open to the needs of their “passengers”. :)
We caught 9 lake trout and 1 king salmon. More importantly, my 4!boys and wife had a good time with memories made.
Fishing is called fishing- not catching. Pete (the 1st mate) said this during a lull in the action. So true. However, I believe Capt. Tom and Pete know how to put you in the best position to catch a fish.
Hope future anglers have as much success as we did.

After numerous cancellations from other charters my family found this one. Extremely thankful and satisfied. Captain Thomas and first mate Charlie did an amazing job on the windy choppy waters. Pulled in plenty of lake trout. They also clean your fish while your waiting there. We will definitely be booking another charter soon.

My grandsons still haven't stopped talking about the fish they caught. It was an experience they will not soon forget. The equipment was there waiting for them, and easy to use. Captain Ewing guided the newbies through every step. My son thought he would be 'babysitting' , but there was no need so he caught fish too.
The boys were absolutely thrilled with the trip, the boat, and the fish. They are already talking about doing it again this summer!
