Ask questions about the condition of the boat. I assumed that the A/C would be working to help cool our group. The boat we went on the fishing trip was a bit outdated and the AC wasn't working. It was a very hot and humid day on March 13. Make sure to eat something before the trip or take snacks. People that aren't used to the culture might not always enjoy what the boat has to offer for snacks/meals.

You should wear protective clothing. We got burnt up pretty good would wear long sleeves, pants and hat to shade face, neck and plenty of sunscreen. If you don't want to be embarrassed tack on 20% of trip price (what you pay captain) for tip.

Bring some cash (American dollars are fine) to provide tips to the captains taking you out to the fishing boat, and as a tip to the deck hands. Make sure to bring sunscreen and a buff to protect your face/ears, it's very sunny!

This is a great boat for experienced and new fisherman. Stable and fast. Plenty of room on board. Capt. had some great music while traveling which helps make a good day. David was great deck hand, kept all the gear and landed fish in order. Helpful with landing this fish, but gave us plenty of latitude to do what we where comfortable with handling the rods.

Taxi boat on the beach promptly at 6am, ran I think 8-10mi out and started fishing. They just had us on the fish constantly. 7 line spread. Nice abundant amount of teasers. From the tower spotting the pods of dolphins and putting us on Yellowfin all-day. Overall just a really great group to fish with. Plenty of laughing and smiles all around. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Captain Jorge knew just where to go and how long to stay before moving on. It was only a 5 hour trip, but we ended up with 8 really good sized snappers, 2 of which were enormous Cubera Snapper. We also got into some Jack Crevelle which were fun to catch.

Had a fun trip with Capt Randy and Davey. He asked what we wanted to catch and then did his best to target those. Did a mix of bottom fishing and slow troll live bait at various reef areas. We got fish for dinner, but couldn't find a rooster fish. Looking forward to booking Randy again for offshore next time.

We booked Two days with Fishing CR. We enjoyed our time and the Captain and first mate were experienced and great to talk to as well as hang out with (good people). They had the boat stocked with all the needed gear as well as Lunch, Snacks, and Drinks. Would definitely repeat this trip!

Hooked Up worked with our schedule and wishlist which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our day of fishing with Capt. Angel and mates Petro and Christian. Everyone worked hard, fast and efficient. We caught 2 Tuna, 2 Mahi and 2 skipjack and we tried hard for Sailfish. Boat was as advertised and just what we were looking for and the fresh Sashimi was amazing. I would recommend for your day out.

Captain Jorge and mate Enrique worked hard to get us on the fish today. Moved around a bit caught a couple of Bonita and rainbow runner. Then we managed to catch 2 dream sailfish! All equipment was great and had plenty of snacks and water and soda. Highly recommend!
