Los Cabos fishing is the stuff that angling dreams are made of. There are few places on the planet that offer such incredible action. Get ready for Billfish bites just a stone’s throw from shore, along with plenty nearshore favorites to keep you on your toes. Add that to the chance of a BBQ as the sun goes down, and you’ve got the ideal vacation activity.

We mentioned Billfish, and you’d better believe us when we say there’s a lot of them here. Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin are the pick of the bunch, with Sailfish also offering up plenty of entertainment and incredible scenes. Couple that with Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and schools of Yellowfin Tuna, and you’ve got a real big game adventure on your hands.

Nearshore, there are plenty of reefs just bustling with some dazzling and delicious fish. Broomtail Grouper and Cubera Snapper are some of the more common catches, with Yellowtail, Mackerel, Jacks, and exotic Roosterfish providing a worthy supporting cast.

With great weather year-round, you can come fishing in Los Cabos whenever you fancy. Full day or extended full day trips are suggested for any pro anglers, but beginners and families can get plenty out of a half day voyage. Febrero

Fishing conditions can be unpredictable due to the cold water influx in February. Still, the Striper and Sailfish action is excellent even when fishing relatively close to shore.

Marzo

It’s sunny and warm, but not too warm – the perfect weather for a day of fishing. Inshore anglers will witness very good Roosterfish and Yellowtail action. You can find Swordfish in the deeper waters, as they hit their peak.

Abril

Whether you’d like to hunt Roosterfish and Yellowtail inshore, or Sharks, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo offshore, April is a great month to do it. Come and make the most of it before other tourists do.

Mayo

As the temperatures rise, so does the fishing action. In May, the season of Bull Mahi Mahi starts, rivaled by the first-class Sailfish and Striped Marlin action. Inshore, Roosters party like it’s no one’s business.

Junio

It’s June, it’s hot, and here come Blue Marlin! Yellowfin Tuna is coming back to the warm Pacific waters as well, while Striped Marlin and Sailfish are biting like crazy. This is big game season!

Julio

The month will begin with the Stars & Stripes Tournament. Billfish galore, combined with the abundance of offshore royals like Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and Sharks make July exciting.

Agosto

As Black Marlin pays a visit to Los Cabos' waters, the Billfish family is complete and ready for Bisbee's East Cape Tournament. Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna are all on the cards.

It’s still hot on the water, but storms are not an unusual sight in September. Still, that won't scare off Marlin and Sailfish, always lurking for their next meal, so come for a big game adventure.

Octubre

October is the big tournament month. Three tournaments will take place in Los Cabos' rich waters this month, with Bisbee’s Black and Blue being the most popular. As you can imagine, the fishing is extraordinary!

Noviembre

The month will begin with the WON Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot and it only gets better from there. Marlin are still abundant, as are Wahoo, Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Sailfish.

Diciembre

Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo are the superstars in December, as the temperatures cool down. Roosterfish and Sailfish are still inshore hungry and waiting.

Bring extra cash for licenses for each angler and bait for the boat. That is not listed on the site as not included. Also, suggest bringing toilet paper for use of the head on the boat and the use of the restrooms at the marina. That is an unpleasant surprise.

We were celebrating my birthday and what a gift, I caught a 8ft Marlin before 7:30AM. As we continued with our fishing, we caught a second Marlin. The boat was extremely clean and comfortable. Captain Luis was diligent and professional, deckhand Omar was very good and supportive in coaching us on the proper way to bring in our catch. A beautiful experience!!!

By far our best fishing trip ever! The crew members were optimistic since we arrived and they did not disappoint! We used a variety of different baits to catch the 3 marlins. The crew members were also very tentative, they were looking around and trying hard to get more than the three we had already caught. These guys know the spots like the palm of their hand. We definitely recommend this company and best believe we will book again when we come back.

The group of 4 had a great time on our charter trip, everyone caught fish. The trip was very successful as we had 3 marlin take hits with a 96.25" hitting the boat, also had an above average trigger fish caught. We attempted for a grouper as we got to witness a strike and power of one of these fish but it was quick to the rocks and broke us off.

I had such an amazing experience!! The captain and 1st mate were polite, courteous and very helpful. From the minute we walked on to the boat to stepping off at the end of the trip, they made us feel at home. We caught 2 marlin early in the morning but the Captain never stopped trying to put us on more fish. We ended the day catching our 3rd marlin - what a way to end the trip. When I come back to Cabo, I’m definitely booking another trip with them!!

Would recommend this boat to anyone. They know how to target the fish you are after. I Will use them again next time I’m in town. Good for inexperienced and experienced anglers. We had 2 Marlin on the hook in the first 30 minutes of lines in the water. Ended up catching a nice Striped Marlin. With over 20 interactions with Marlin throughout our trip.
