To remember it's up to the fish whether they're going to bite or not they're not it's not the captain or the 1st mate are captain and 1st mate were great. Our captain tried very hard to put us on fish. The captain and 1st mate were a pleasure to be around and work with.

Cpt. George and his first mate did an excellent job making it a fun trip with fish in the boat for my kids first charter. The weather didn’t cooperate but he quickly changed tactics and was able to stay out of the wind/waves for the safety of my young kinds but still put us on fish for them to catch and have a great time. They’re already talking about wanting to do it again and we will for sure book another trip with Cpt. George and Islander Sportsfishing!

We did some bottom fishing and live bait fishing.Caught a lot of spot and a stingray that was 3’ wide and probably 45 lbs or more. Lots of fun. Good conversations with John Satterly. Hope to catch up with him for some Cobia fishing next June

This was our first time on the Potomac since we moved to Northern Virginia, and we hit the jackpot finding Osprey Fishing Charters! We knew late June with the heat may have presented a challenge, but Captain Rich knew the river and we found fish! First time fishing for small mouth, and we learned so much. He took the time to explain the area and we got to try out all different kinds of baits and lures. Grabbed lots of small mouth and even a couple catfish. We can't wait for the next trip!!

The captain and crew were great. The boat could use a little cleaning and repair. It was one of those days when fishing was grand but catching fish not so much. I enjoyed the trip and would like to go again but when the fish are more likely to come in the boat.

Captain John and Phil were wonderful and very knowledgeable! We had a super time! Beautiful boat and marina. A full day would be our choice next time so we would have more time to get to the “hot spots”. Captain John even arranged for us to get a last minute reservation at one of his favorite dinner spots!

We had the greatest time fishing with Captain Lance and First Mate B! They were very knowledgeable about the area and where the fish hid. We traveled about an hour into the Bay and within 30 minutes of arriving we hit limit. We had a great time with them, and would definitely recommend them to any angler who wants to have a fun time on the bay, kick back a few, listen to great music, and catch some of the best fish you can in Maryland. It was a pleasure riding on the Rowe Boat.

We had a great time- caught about 100 fish
Great day on the water- sun was out the water was pretty calm.
Capt John did his part - always made sure we had bait on the line and helped removing fish.
Capt John - we give Capt John a 5 Star.
We stopped by J & W seafood and got a 1/2 Bissell of crabs - Jimmy’s - great size- prices have dropped from $50 down to $30. Great price!!!!!

Cpt. George and his first mate did an excellent job making it a fun trip with fish in the boat for my kids first charter. The weather didn’t cooperate but he quickly changed tactics and was able to stay out of the wind/waves for the safety of my young kinds but still put us on fish for them to catch and have a great time. They’re already talking about wanting to do it again and we will for sure book another trip with Cpt. George and Islander Sportsfishing!

We did some bottom fishing and live bait fishing.Caught a lot of spot and a stingray that was 3’ wide and probably 45 lbs or more. Lots of fun. Good conversations with John Satterly. Hope to catch up with him for some Cobia fishing next June

Most caring and customer centric crew I have ever dealt with! Our family satisfaction was their TOP PRIORITY! An absolutely awesome trip! The boat ride, the conservation and wildlife education was amazing in itself! Then.... the FISHING 🎣!!! We caught sooo many species! Bluefish, tuna, mackerel and ribbon fish! Had an absolute blast! Had a great time out with these guys. The Captain and Mate were great. This trip was a part of a site seeing experience for my grandmother who was visiting from Illinois. She had a great time and so did the rest of our party. We all caught several fish, saw many dolphins, enjoyed conversation and views. Would recommend, and will be booking another trip. Thanks guys.
