Go out fishing with an open mind. Day to day the fishing changes. Weather is a big/huge factor. Be patient with your Captain. They are doing their best with what the day brings. You might catch fish non stop for your trip, or get only a couple. It's fishing. And be polite. May God bless your fishing adventures.

Go for it, the area offers a lot of great offer of fishing. It won’t disappoint. The only reason I did not write this 5 stars was because I’ve had better days fishing in Clearwater where I larger fish

Not as good of fishing in March as it is in June when snapper and other fish are open for catching but still fun to reel in a lot of fish! Mingo is a good eater as is Trigger.

Just B Cause Charters

Definitely consider the type of species you aim to catch. Bigger fish require bigger/deeper water. This of course turns into longer boat rides to the necessary habitat. The time in travel can eat into the scheduled time for your trip. If bringing smaller children, you'll be able to get into feisty smaller fish for sure much sooner. They'll have a fantastic time getting into fish much sooner in the trip and have a very memorable time.

Little cool early but warmed up quick. Guide cleaned the Spanish macs and we took them to the boathouse oyster bar and they blackened them and made fish tacos was excellent.

Captain Chris got us on fish and Denis and Brian educated and were quick to help. Vermillion snapper was the target and we got a lot. Best part was taking the filets over to The edge restaurant next door and they cooked all 10 lbs up for us. Blackened snapper was so good. For those looking for a business event in short time Big John’s made it a breeze to get on fish and have fun.

Awesome Captain. Told us stories about the history of the area. Show us details about lots of different fish and how some of them get their names. Very knowledgeable, personable and friendly Captain. I took my 10 year old autistic grandson on the sunset shark targeted fishing trip. Our captain was so patient and encouraging. We caught 2 sharks and saw several dolphins. This is a trip my grandson will remember for the rest of his life.

As soon as the sinker hit the bottom, “FISH ON”!!! All of us had GREAT time and we will definitely be back for Tuna season. Captain Michael is hardest working Captain I’ve ever seen from all the charters I’ve been on to include many from overseas. Thank Captain Michael!!! Will see you again!!

Chris kept us baited and on the fish. He went out of his way to understand what we were looking to do before we got out on the boat and he made it happen. Capt Alex is so knowledgeable and helpful with the kids. Not only was it a great memory for my family but we learned a lot while catching our limit in just 2 hours. We then went shark fishing! Any day fishing is great day but we have been on 12 annual trips to Destin and I vouch this one was our favorite.
